Day 56 - 26 February 2011
Well today was a glorious day in Cardiff, so I decided to go and test out my new 10-20mm lens around about the sights… here’s the peace memorial in Cathays Park… lovely :)

Another day, another three photoshoots. Gotta cram ‘em in.
Today I photographed Jonathan David, a very old jewellery shop in the Morgan Arcade.
This is a picture of a teeny tiny pair of scissors that the goldsmith had made because she had a spare 20 mins - they even worked! There will be more pictures from the shop soon - look out on the Cardiff Arcades Project blog.

I know a lot of people don’t like the Hipstamatic app, but I feel it allows me to look for interesting shapes, that if nothing else I can revisit at a later date with my “real” camera.

Went out looking for some interesting pictures in my lunch break today, seeing what I could get with the Hipstamatic (again). I haven’t done much with it in Bath so felt it was only fair to give it it’s turn.

This used to be a common theme on my old blog - cinema tickets. This is a homage to that. Today I saw two films, Paul and Never Let Me Go. Saw Paul first… wondering if it should have been the other way around…

50 days into the project, hooray!
Today I took my good friend Emma to Cardiff Castle, where she learned how to do some archery - what a natural. There will be more pics from the day (including men in suits of armour, wahey) on Flickr as soon as I find the time to edit them =)

Not much to say on this one. Today my good friend Emma came to visit me… this is a cheesecake I ate in her presence. Yum.

I have been commuting for close to two years and I have never seen this above the clock in Cardiff Cental before.
How did that happen? Was it taken away and only recently put back in after they finished the work on the new lift or am I just blind?
If anyone knows please do let me know…
